Pak-China Knowledge Corridor

Chinese research and knowledge can highly be useful in the economic and social development of Pakistan. The use of research and experience based knowledge along with the education is a point to be understood for the economic growth worldwide. Shared Knowledge in areas of expertise such as products, services, research and innovation, infrastructure, digital technology, social and cultural studies would uphold the One Region, One Corridor Strategy of both countries. China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) can be regarded as the foundation of this Knowledge corridor that would mark the areas in which Pak-China Knowledge collaboration would be significant. The Knowledge Corridor will be a home to enviable assets and many strong areas of talent and workforce development. It will also help to develop a world‐class talent development system to match its industries, colleges, universities, companies, and hospitals.
Government needs to initiate consultation with the stakeholders of industry and academia for creation of a viable plan for Pak-China Knowledge Corridor before the next election. The present government has developed the most cordial relations with China that has paved way for easy and speedy collaboration with the two friendly nations in all walks of life. Therefore, this is the most conducive situation at present to create Pak-China Knowledge Corridor, which will prove to be a paradigm shift towards economic and social development of Pakistan by producing innovative sources of new employments.
